History

Gold Coast Pelican district was originally known as South Coast District.  The district name was changed to “Gold Coast Pelican” in late 1982 [1].  It closed in 1st April 2010 when the Gold Coast Region abolished all its districts, and moved towards a single Region organisation. [2]
